Daily horseback ride on Roca Lake

The ride at Roca Lake is a ride to meet anyone, it is an all day trip and is located in the southern area of Los Glaciares National Park

With panoramic views of the Perito Moreno Glacier that will accompany us during the whole ride. We pick them up at 8:30 am for the hotel where they are and we go to the estancia Roca Lake by the route N 15, about 42 km from El Calafate. We will leave the steppe zone to reach the intermediate zone (echo tone). Once in the estancia, we will designate the horses to drink tea, coffee or mate before leaving. We will ride towards the cordilleran zone, interpreting flora and fauna of the place; We will have a 1-hour tour to the main viewpoint where the panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier, Lake Roca, Lago Rico, Cerro Moreno, Brazo Sur, Cerro Frias, Magallanes Peninsula, Tijuana River Vale and Lake Argentino awaits us. In one more hour of riding, we arrive at the Los Ñires camp on the banks of the Rico River, where we will eat some steaks in a sandwich with wine, juice or water. After a good rest for about two hours, we will ride back for an hour to the estancia. Return to Calafate around 5:00 pm approximately.
