Trip that takes us into the steppe landscape of Mount Huyliche reaching heights of up to 1050 meters, and being able to enjoy an incredible natural lookout of El Calafate.

The trip begins by picking you up from the hotel (this service may take about 15 minutes) to complete a journey of about 15 km to the entrance of Mount Huyliche where we will begin our way up to 990 meters above sea level, with our guides and drivers, above the mount line located behind the town. This trip takes us into the steppe landscape, reaching heights of up to 1050 meters above sea level. Our first stop is a natural lookout point that offers a magnificent and unique panoramic view of El Calafate and the central body of the Argentino Lake. The tour allows us to appreciate views of the Andes Mountains and the glacier accumulation zone, towards the Boca del Diablo (narrowest part of the lake, towards the Upsala arm). And if it is a clear day, we will see Mounts Fitz Roy and Torre in El Chaltén. Continuing the ascent, we will reach the Stone Labyrinth, a formation of the Cretaceous period dating back to 85 million years, all this area was once a river bed where we can now find fossils. Once the trip is over, we go back to the chair lift return point, and descend to take the last pictures of the impressive Argentino Lake.
